Whether visiting a restaurant on a special occasion or stopping in for a bite on a daily basis, when it comes to dining out, clients have many questions but often find answers difficult to come by.
The Bauernschmaus Restaurant wants to give you the most accurate information available to help you relax and enjoy a great dining experience when you visit us. To do this, we’ve answered some of the most frequently asked questions about what we offer.
1. Do I need a reservation?
Yes, you should make a reservation when possible. It aids the restaurant in preparation. Whereas if you show up, the restaurant could be busy (or understaffed) and unable to serve you. We would rather you are not turned away angry.
2. Do you have gluten-free options?
Certainly, keeping with the times and wanting to offer all our clients simply the best dining experience, we offer gluten-free options. However, we suggest you ask and also state whether it is just a preference or due to an actual allergy. Please don’t assume the server will know or understand, as it is a personal issue.
3. Do you do delivery and takeout?
No. Not currently. We are a dine-in restaurant.
4. Is outside food and dessert allowed?
No, it is against the law to bring outside food into an establishment and “serve” it. Also, I can’t lie. It’s a bit of an insult to the restaurant.
5. Can we just have water with our meal?
Of course, you may have just water with your meal. We don’t want to push anyone to drink alcohol if they aren’t interested, but even ordering a pop or juice helps us achieve our bottom line. This said, if you are ordering water, please drink it and let’s save water!
